Presentation and discussion by Richard N. Foster, Ph.D., Senior Faculty Fellow at the Yale School of Management; Director Emeritus, McKinsey & Company; and Venture Partner, Lux Capital

Dr. Foster will identify a few significant opportunities for change available to aspiring healthcare entrepreneurs, including: the Primary Care Office of the Future, Rationalized Electronic Data Exchange, Pricing Transparency, the Intelligent Hospital in the era of Team Care, Regenerative Medicine, next generation Care Planning, and Medical Education in the information technology era.
A senior faculty fellow at Yale School of Management, Richard N. Foster is an emeritus director of McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he was director and senior partner. While at McKinsey he founded several practices, including the technology and innovation practice, the healthcare practice, and the private equity practice. Dr. Foster’s research interests are in the relationships between capital formation, innovation, and regulation. A best selling author, Dr. Foster has written two books, Innovation: The Attacker’s Advantage (1986) and Creative Destruction (2001), as well as several dozen articles in research and popular journals.
