Do you have children in 3rd - 6th grade?

You and your family are invited to take The Marshmallow Challenge at a fun-filled evening of science and engineering at Hopkins School in New Haven. Hopkins School has generously decided to open this 2 1/2 hour science and engineering program to the members of Connecticut's lifescience community. Geared to children of many ages (and fun for adults too), it will will be an enjoyable way to engage in a little friendly competition centered around science and engineering.

5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This fun-filled evening of science and engineering activities is open to 3rd–6th graders and their families (both older and younger siblings welcome). Pizza dinner, a hands-on family experiment, friendly competition, and prizes will be provided.

Leading the program are scientists/educators from CURE.

The goal: An evening of science and fun designed to open young minds to the thrills of science and engineering.
