The great number of CURE members from around the state who turned out for the December 6th CURE Holiday Party made the event a great success.
Excellent wine and food was sourced, respectively, from The Wine Thief and Café George by Paula.
Party goers played the DNA Game, which called for guests to seek each other out in order to match up the genetic codes on their respective name tags. Guests who found a match had their names entered in a drawing for door prizes. The winners were Elisa Romeo of HistoRx and Michael Grundei of Wiggin and Dana.
Winstanley Enterprises, as lead sponsor, underwrote the extensive buffet at Café George and arranged for convenient parking at 300 George, which is one of the Winstanley properties in New Haven.

Greeting the guests, Paul Pescatello, president and CEO of CURE, thanked sponsors PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Wiggin and Dana, and Elm Street Ventures for their continuing support. He also welcomed new sponsors ConnStem of Cheshire and Agilux Laboratories of Worcester, MA.
ConnStem was this year's sponsor of the DNA Game. They provided gift certificates from Amazon to the winners.
Pescatello thanked the staff at CURE, "which goes the extra mile every year to create this party," and HarveyMalis Communications, CURE's marketing communications and public relations advisor. |
