Medal of Technology Nominations Now Open

Nominations for the 2010 Connecticut Medal of Technology are due on March 1, 2010 by 4:00 p.m

The Medal of Technology is Connecticut ’s highest honor for technological achievement in fields crucial to Connecticut 's economic competitiveness. Modeled after the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, this award is bestowed by the Governor in alternate years with the Connecticut Medal of Science.

As directed by state statute, selection of the Medalist will be conducted on behalf of the Board of Governors for Higher Education by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education with the assistance of the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering.
