Bioscience Business Roundtable event November 16 in West
Hartford brought together business and government leaders
concerned about the progress of bioscience in our state.
Speakers included U.S. Congressman Chris Murphy and
Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell, as well as State Senators
Jonathan Harris and Gary LeBeau and Lt. Governor Michael
Fedele.

Cara Presents at CURE/Yale BioHaven Series
Inaugurating the 2009-2010 CURE/Yale BioHaven Entrepreneurship seminar series was a presentation
October 21 by Cara Therapeutics Inc., an emerging biotechnology company in
Shelton focused on developing novel therapeutics to treat human diseases
associated with pain and inflammation.

November 18 by Helix Therapeutics. Based in New Haven, Helix is a seed-stage
